Pine Hill Group is a leading operationally-focused finance and accounting consultancy and M&A advisory firm which provides a myriad of financial, accounting and pre- and post-Closing M&A services to small to middle-market public and private companies, private equity firms, investment banks, and accounting firms.


  • Responsible for the general ledgers for assigned clients, including monthly journal entries, income and expense accruals and GAAP adjustments as needed
  • Assist with preparations of quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Process a wide variety of financial information for the purpose of updating and distributing information and/or complying with established accounting practices
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, cash receipts, and bank reconciliations
  • Interpret the meaning of accounting records, reports, and statements
  • Create workpapers that support accounts on the trial balance


  • At least 4 years of experience working in the accounting field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Ability to multi- task between responsibilities, prioritize and handle multiple requests
  • Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written
  • Able to work either in our Philadelphia office, a client’s location, or at our NYC office occasionally
