  • Support the Controller in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements to verify accuracy and completeness of accounting transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely close process. Review, analyze, and prepare monthly journal entries for month end close, including expense accruals, amortizations, and any others that may be required.
  • Prepare and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations and provide explanation of any unusual balances.
  • Preparation of customer invoicing
  • Assist in the preparation of semi-monthly payroll.
  • Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor and employee payments.
  • Analyze actual costs to budget variances.
  • Ensure financial records are compliant with policies and procedures.



  • At least 4-5 years of experience working in an accounting/bookkeeping role.
  • Strong current knowledge of basic accounting functions, including journal entries, financial reporting, A/P, A/R, and payroll.
  • Ability to multitask between responsibilities; prioritize and handle multiple requests.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Associate's / Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting from an accredited university is preferred, but not required.
